The big mama of market really delivers with it’s food and drink and, let’s be honest, who doesn’t love a takeaway treat from a market – so take a look at the listings of food and drink traders for this week below and don’t forget to check out our line up of more eclectic, craft, home-y, vintagey sellers our our listing for the street food and bar offering for when you JUST. CAN’T. WAIT.

Food and drink traders:

Bobby’s Bangers -Can you buy award-winning sausages at Levy Market? WELL YES YOU CAN!  @bobbysbangers and @msbobbysbangers serve up free range pork sausages, bacon, burgers, black puddings and more.

Cake! – Set stomachs to GUMBLE: homemade brownies, cupcakes, mini loaves, big cakes by the slice, scones and cupcakes

Captain Cakeman – They’s BACK! Vegan cupcakes – cakey and cruelty free yums! @Captain_Cakeman

Case Solved Wines Ltd -There is no doubt that a day out at Levy begets a quiet night in with a bottle for you and yours – and Adrian is on the case…literally – bottles and cases of quality wine, with around half of his range from certified organic estates. @CaseSolvedWines

Club-Mate UK -A little bit of the 90s Berlin warehouse scene makes its way to Manchester, in the form of natural organic energy drinks – has to be tried (by adults only please!) to be believed – @clubmate_uk

Dave the Fish – No one knows fish like our Dave – from whole salmons fresher than you’ll find anywhere else to dressed crab the man knows his product and likes to tell their tale…

Fatjax -The King of Condiments returns with chutneys, ketchups and relishes galore – all made from locally sourced ingredients with no artificial colours, flavours, or preservatives – @FATJAX_Chutneys

Kawaii Cake -Made at home and brought to Levy with love – the home of all things sweet and wonderful – cupcakes, red velvet cake, humming bird cake, lemon meringue cake, cake, cake, cake! @kawaiikupcakes

Little Italy kitchen – The nicest Neapolitan in South Manchester is back in Levy with his lip smacking selection of homemade seasonal Italian foods, cakes and sauces – venison-stuffed brioche, anyone? @andreadellos

Lindsay’s Market Garden – Fruit and veg – organic, local and grown by the lovely Lindsay!

Macaroon by Alison Seagrave -Ex-Harvey Nicholls chef Alison brings her selection of light, favoursome macaroons to the market – pistachio, salted caramel, raspberry and more besides…trust us, you won’t be able to stop at one. @Yourmacaroon

North West Game -A debut at Levy for NWG and we’re so pleased to have them, selling locally-sourced seasonal game and wild meats – @nw_game

Orchard House Pâté – Another newbie to the market but a trader we’ve wanted for some time – selling homemade pâté in all its wondrous forms – for more see @orchardpate

Parched Tea Bar -Lovely Marcy sells packets of ethically sourced loose leaf tea in packets designed by artists – meaning you can take home a work of art and a decent brew in one go – plus tea accessories and a cuppa to drink as you shop @parchedteabar

Pudding and Pie – Any real Mancunian knows it’s not good shopping unless there’s a decent pie somewhere in the mix – and PnP oblige in abundance – with slab pies, hot and cold wonders and mini pies – all made with great, fresh ingredients and a lotta Manc love. @PuddingPieCafe

Savin Hill Farm and Butchery -MEAT STOP! Savin Hill sell the finest rare breed British beef, middlewhite and saddleback pork, lamb and mutton – plus, if you’re feeling pecking they’ll fling a steak burger or a Cumberland sausage your way @SavinHillFarm

Spice Souk – Atiha’s astounding range of Middle Eastern pickles, preserves and dips – lime pickle to lift any dish!

Sue Lee’s Spring Rolls – Homemade Chinese spring rolls to take home and put in the over. Trust us when we say that these beauties bear no resemblance to those flabby things of takeaway nightmares – crisp, fresh ingredients and flavours and so big they’re a meal in themselves!

The Moocher -Lovely locals mixing their passion for good food with the highest quality ingredients to make delicious home-made sausage rolls, scotch eggs, potted game and more, including pork scratchings we’ve seen people fight over. @themoocherfoods

The Smokey Carter – Bringing you full flavoured sauces and rubs. Producer of The Smokey Carter Original Recipe Smoked Chipotle and Bourbon BBQ Sauce! @thesmokeycarter

Trove -Levenshulme’s very own Food and Drink Award winners and market favourites return to the market with their beautiful loaves and pastries – all made in Levenshulme and usually all gone before lunch – and this time they’re in Cyril, the 2CV with the big blue bum! @trovebakery

Winter Tarn Farm -Jeremy or “Will the cheese man be there?!” as he is known by friends of the Market, is becoming something of a Levy cult – and no wonder – the man has cheese and he’s not afraid to sell it to you – we defy you to walk past without buying some. And while you’re there, pick up some free range eggs fresh from the farm, organic butter or milk.

Lindsay’s Market Garden – The lovely Lindsay is back with her organic fruit and veg – grown locally by the lady herself it’s a seasonal, guilt free, taste high bonanza.
